What does the daytoday operation of the role entail?

Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving common and complex business/technical issues related to accounts receivable within established policies.

Oversees Cash Allocation process
-
Supervises the monthly execution of journal entries in accordance with the policy.
-
Supervises AR general ledger reconciliation and clearing, IDOC fallout monitoring, and manual invoicing.

Supervises timely and accurate execution of misdirected cash.

Validates and report on AR escalatables, review KPIs, and ensure quality control through Month End Close, Journal Entry bookings check and clearing.

Supervises Cash applications for miscellaneous invoices

Supervises Bank statements processing

May include supervision of refunds process, VAT, bad debts and factoring accounting. May also include collaboration with requestors to collect miscellaneous invoices for the region and validation of Wells Fargo invoices.

Plans, manages and monitors operational/tactical activities of Staff. Recruits and supports development of direct staff members.

Manages employees and teams of employees by setting and monitoring performance goals and objectives, allocating resources and staff, and ensuring timely and effective deliverables.

Ensures that metrics for individuals are aligned with corporate objectives and identifies talent to develop.

Follow established guidelines and interpret policies.

Proposes structural changes for the organization that will make it more efficient.

Talent development, succession planning, and team member engagement for talent retention and building a sustainable talent pipeline.
What is required to apply?

First-level University degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting preferred.
-
At least 2 years of experience leading a team (formal or informal)
-
Knowledge of the processes managed by the team or experience in a similar role
-
Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent English, basic accounting knowledge, understanding of collections processes, attention to detail, and strong prioritization skills.

Basic understanding of order management process and banking structures
